Chinese Currency And The US

“What China should do this afternoon is make the currency completely convertible and have an open economy. The Chinese were opening up slowly and gradually in their own way (before the crisis). I think that would have continued, but every time the Americans slap them in the face they get angry. I would, too, and I’m a little surprised that the US doesn’t seem to understand that better.”
